Thanks Gundulf - I think I will use this Strategy for the Egypt vs Cameroon game today.

Hi Blurt,

I have just started to try and use the XT starter strat as well. So far it appears that if the u2.5 is favourite then it will site around 1.9 or less just before the KO. After KO the price doesn't come down much.

However, I traded the Barcenlona game last night where o2.5 was the favourite. Before the match the u2.5 odds lengthened and after KO they came down a lot which lead to a profit made after deducting the 1st goal stake. I didn't get in at the top of the market but still managed to make some money.

I have posted in the new traders section about this, maybe one of the guys can give us some more details in there about the XT starter strat.

Cheers
Colin

Heavy faves are not good for the Xt. Why? Cos the market expects early goals. Never use the Xt for Barca, RM, Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal etc as the price doesnt come in quickly enough over 9 mins 45 seconds. Look for other games where price is around 1.90 to 2.20.

My take on the adster aperitif 2-1 is I look for a side trading at around 1.70 to 2.50, preferably home side. Sometimes I take inusrance on the unders sometimes not. IF I do it's normally a 20% stake on my 2-1 price ie if I back 2-1 with £100 I will stick £20 on under 1.5.

Hey Ads,

instead of backing U1.5, would it possibly be better to back the 0-0 so it has a little more green than the 2-1, then lay it off as the game remains scoreless? You are covered in the event of a 0-0 as long as 0-0 still has green on it, and by laying it off,you are actively reducing red on the other score lines and increasing the green you have on the 2-1 that you can lay off when/if a goal is scored.

So do you mean lay it off in increments for every .5 tick or so?

0.5 tick, full tick, or even every two ticks; whatever increments you wish to do it in, but yeah, that's what I mean.

Depending on how much you staked on the 0-0, if it is still 0-0 by HT (or even 30 mins), you may already be fully green on the CS market, and a goal would just be gravy, allowing you to lay off the 2-1 (and/or 1-2, 1-1, etc.)

Yes Silk, tend to use the 0-0 more than under 1.5 now. Use something similar when I back the 0-0 and 2-2 which is trading out around 25 mins for a small red across the field by laying off the 0-0 and being left with a massive green on 2-2. A couple of goals between 30 and 60 minutes and you will profit.
