Hi guys,

I recently got one of those emails from Betfair saying that i'd gone over my fair usage and that i incurred a charge of £163. The email goes onto say that my account has NOT been debited and that they want to avoid me being charged in the future.

Has anyone else received these types of mail. I have always been careful when using Evo and have it set as default to 15 calls and never use it while having the Betfair page open so i'm a bit confused how in one day i can suddenly rack this type of charge up.

I have replied to the email asking for a breakdown of the charges possible.

I've had a couple of mails from betfair. The first time was a charge of £16 but they didn't take the money but warned me on future use. The second time they took £263!! I managed to get the money back in the end but they said it was because I had 2 sessions of BetAngel open - I had two PCs running it without knowing.

That £263 seemed to come from a timespan of about 2 hours!

A couple of weeks ago I have been charged for over €120,- for doing to much data request. At the time I was using Evo and Fairbot at the same time

Took me about 10 emails before they returned my money, I thought it wasn't fair because I was never warned. I sure was happy the day they returned my money as a gesture.

Now I'm a little paranoia as I sometimes have a betfairscreen open when I use fairbot too I hope that I'm not asking too much again. Any idea how much data request is done by the betfair screen itself??

the bf screen refreshes itself every 30's, so unless your clicking the refresh constantly, I can't see that it will contribute that much to your 20 rps allowance.
