I know we've seen several 'blips' by numerous prem teams this season so far, but this strat continues to pay long term dividends.
To recap - in the HALF TIME market lay any strong favourite AT ODDS UP TO 2.25 but ideally below 2 - look to close the trade after 15 - 20 minutes. You should see a minimum of 15 ticks, but in a couple of xmas holiday games (e.g Chelsea v Fulham) the returns have been outstanding, because the dog scored first within that fifteen minute time frame.
For those concerned about insurance, maybe back the favourite at 1-0 in h/t scores or in next goal market. Or look at first goal market - you could pick up a double winner if dog scores.
Personally I do it as a stand alone trade, it rarely fails, but 15 - 20 mins and the right odds are the key!

The liquidity in this market is often terrible, i always struggle to get out of it unless its a big game (televised etc)....
Plus a goal for the favorite pretty much wipes the whole stake.

I take both comments on board, and am only talking about the big games! I've rarely had a problem either laying to £100 stakes, or indeed coming out of them!
Arsenal and MU today - nice winners in this strat.... I just offer it as another weapon in the old arsenal to generate some relatively risk free profit!

How much % return do you look to gain before you exit?

Very true, although I wasn't around too much to try it.
Human123 wrote: How much % return do you look to gain before you exit? I exit at 15-20 minutes unless there's been a goal, not really looking for a specific return, but you normally see 15-20 ticks
