But as i said, if the score does become 2-1 you could hedge out and probably still be in profit/scratch by this time?
Im sure the amount of times it works and you win the full stake will possibly outweigh the times it goes wrong.
But then again i only really thought of this as i was typing earlier, havent tried it yet!

Some interesting thoughts....all responses so far have relied on the supposition of a goal so we still need to guard against the possibility of that not happening. LTD back 1-1 is great if there is a goal - if it stays goalless you are down on both trades..... which is what I was trying to minimise!
My original premise was that if you ltd or play around with cs at this stage of the game you've got to be prepared to lose your entire stake if it goes tits up! In that sense it is a straight punt! It's just trying to work out how to a) minimise the pain and b) maximise the gain!

Your right Gundulf, i myself still see laying the draw and its variations as being a bit closer to "gambling" then trading. or at least the whole principles behind trading anyway.

Agreed, am not a big fan of ltd for the obvious reasons mentioned. Prefer to be backing anything than laying it, guess all traders are different, there is no right or wrong just what is comfortable for you.
Bottom line is if you win consistantly with a method then that's all that matters.

Hi guys. I think what we really need,is an alternative to the 0-0 insurance because it is eating half of the profit when laying the draw. We need an alternative that wont be lost after the first goal is scored, maybe HT/FT market,or unders?I really dont know. Any thoughts?

Nice thought. But hitting over 50% strike rate on from the 70th min is hard. But a really interesting thought
