This is probably in the wrong section, but wasn't sure where to put it Anybody trade/traded using their mobile (I remember Ads mentioning he has before). Basically, I am due an upgrade soon I was wondering which is the best phone to use Betfair with. Obviosuly haven't got any chance to use trial and error, so am relying on like minded people like you lot It wouldn't be to trade on full time (that would be silly) but for stuff like when I'm at a match and there's an injury, put a quick back in on the U2.5 and lay it off as the physio is leaving the pitch. That sort of thing. Any help greatly appreicated.

Hi, I recently bought an iphone 3GS and instantly got the ibetmate app. I only use it as a last resort like Adster mentioned but i was very impressed with it. I find it to be quite quick and once you know what you're doing with it, it is a very very usefull piece of software.. Also you can simply log onto betfair itself on the phone and trade this way. Hope this helps.

Nothing yet Ads. My upgrade is due at the end of the month so still in the "research" stage. Ideally, it'll be an iPhone (not sure that's available on my network yet though), but whether the extra monthly charges will be worth it remain to be seen. Got a mate who works at tmobile who will see what phones are available to me with his "perks". If that doesn't work out might try the whole stamping my feet and saying I'll leave if they don't give me the phone that I want

Ended up getting a HTC HD2. Basically it's a copy of the iPhone but with windows as the operating system. Massive screen. Only thing is, I can get onto the menus on Betfair, but can't see the actual markets to place a bet. Anybody with a similar phone got any suggestions?

Hey Longy
I've also got an HTC handset. Download Skyfire or Opera mini as your mobile browser and you'll be able to access the full BF website content. However, the page content is quite slow to load at most times. I find it much easier to use the Betfair Mobile application and trade by mobile all of the time. I even managed to cover the Fulham game last night whilst watching Bad Company at the LG Arena!!!!

Met, trading while at a gig! Can't decide whether that's good or bad!!! But a bit similar, wouldn't mind using the phone to do simple trades whilst in the pub or something. However the future wife would have something to say about that, she thinks I already spend too much time on it!

Longy, you can never spend too much time trading! if only we got paid by the hour for this, we could give up our day jobs; that is the eventual goal obviously tone
