Those members who know me from the chat room will know that I have a tremendous problem with self-discipline! I get involved in silly trades for the sake of it, don't take the green when it's there, stay in too long, follow my heart not my head, keep no records.... etc etc etc. Ring any bells with anyone else? ;)

Trading sports in general and soccer in particular is a hobby for me, I don't (fortunately!) depend on it to pay my way in life. However, the slap dash way I've approached it for the past four years or so has meant that my betfair balance has been up and down like a lift in Canary Wharf!

NOT ANY MORE!!!

I have opened a secondary BF account and deposited £100 into it. I am going to 'compound' that £100 and am hoping to make it to a 2K balance by New Year's Eve 2010. To do this, I need to increase my bank by 2.5% of the previous balance EVERY DAY! That's all. Sounds easy, doesn't it?

My efforts will be recorded publicly on a blog - for all who are interested to see whether I succeed or fall flat on my face!

Please visit - followers and comments (positive and negative) are most welcome.

The blog can be viewed at http://soccercompounding.blogspot.com

Cheers, Dave
