I've been trying the Adster strat in CAN with a twist and it's been working fine so far. I back 2-1 on a fav with a price of 10s.
But instead of waiting for goals the goal is to use it as insurance. So i back u2.5 when it's on 2ish, and i wait about 15 mins to trade off, and make a profit since the odds of 2-1 hardly move

The beauty of this is: if dog scores, i can trade off both markets with a profit, and if the fav scores the 2-1 market price will drop, and will make a low red overall. Or if you like you can wait the u2.5 market to drop again, since any goal on the 2-1 will help you allowing a scratch trade or even a small profit (depending on the stakes).

I used a similar strat backing u2.5 (40% stake, >1.90) and LTD (60% stake, <3.50). When I came across Adster Aperitive, I start using 2-1 instead of LTD, as insurance. Working fine so far but i did not get caught yet by an early goal.

I got caught once, but was the dog who scored, and it turned out a decent profit, the price of 2-1 went from 10 to 6.

Thanks for this jclive, how do you calculate the stakes?

as of now, i only used it as a test and i used equal stakes. it should return a profit should 0-0 at 15 mins or if dog scores. The fav hasn't scored yet so i can't say exactly how much you lose, but if the 2-1 price drops to about 8 you shouldn't lose all that much. I guess it's about how much you want the risk/profit ratio to come in. I like small profits with low liabilities.
